DeOFest  is an annual event held in Baltimore, MD designed to help raise money for The Matt DeOrsey Emergency Seizure Medication Fund. The event and fund are named in memory of Matt DeOrsey who passed away from complications of an epileptic seizure.

Matt DeOrsey was diagnosed with Epilepsy at the age of 25 and passed in January, 2008.   DeOFest celebrates Matt's very special and purposeful life, as well as creates awareness of Epilepsy and other seizure disorders. DeOFest is a celebration of life and has been enjoyed by over 600 guests in 3 years.
The fund provides financial assistance to individuals in need of seizure medications who cannot afford or access them.  DeOFest is planned and coordinated by friends and family of Matt DeOrsey who are committed to serving individuals suffering from Epilepsy and in need of seizure medication.

To date, DeOFest has grossed over $37,000 for The Matt DeOrsey Emergency Seizure Medication Fund. This money has helped individuals afford medications that has allowed them to drive, get and retain their jobs and may have saved their lives.

DeOFest is committed to growth each year by providing new and improved venues and entertaining, enhancing the DeOFest experience and revenue streams that fuel the fund. The support around DeOFest has grown outside of immediate friends and family and spread throughout the Baltimore, Towson, and Frederick communities.
